One of the dentists in the accompanying picture, has changed our lives forever, and is responsible for Social Media, says Dr. Marks.  Without him, our lives would no doubt be much more isolated and boring.  Dr. Marks asks how is this possible, and who is the mysterious dentist we are referring to, and what exactly did he do.

Well, as we know, dentists are involved in patient care, and using technology to deliver this care.  Most of us have been treated for, or know someone who has had treatments for cavities, or gum - periodontal disease, root canals to save teeth, orthodontics - INVISALIGN - to straighten teeth, crowns to protect teeth, bridges and dentures and dental implants to replace teeth, tooth whitening - ZOOM - to brighten our smile, and oral surgery -extractions- to remove wisdom teeth.  Both of our pictured dentists have done all of that.  However, one of them, in addition to these dental procedures, partook in some extracurricular activities, and created the person in the 2nd picture........... 

Mark Zuckerberg, founder of "FACEBOOK".  At the recent Greater New York Dental Meeting in New York City, the author of this post- Dr. Marks, and Dr. Edward Zuckerberg met up and decided to memorialize their meeting with this picture.  Dr. Marks has a dream that some day, Dr. Zuckerberg will write an article about meeting Jay M. Marks, DMD.......at that point, I guess I can retire for engaging in whatever endeavor I would have become famous for.
