The burning question is can you, or should you multitask when you brush or floss your teeth. This leads us to find out some interesting information about how our brain works, and will surprise you as it did Danbury, CT dentist Jay M. Marks, DMD.
This is our first participation post, where we ask you do something that you think is easy, but find out that your brain is dumber than you thought, no matter how hard you try. :-) CONTINUE -->
You are asking how this can be. Our brains have 2 sides. Each side controls the opposite side of our bodies. Our left side controls timing and rhythms. It is unable to control 2 opposite tasks at the same time, and tends to combine the tasks into one movement. So if you want to brush and drive, or floss and ride a bike, it may be safer to do each task separately. If you are able to rotate your foot and write the # six, let us know- we may have a circus job for you :-)
